Three of the words and goals I'm focusing on for 2016 are simplify, refresh, and renew. On the work front, that has meant changes both big (changing the focus of my business to speaking and writing about organizing, rather than hands-on work with clients) and small (giving my site a much-needed overhaul).
One of the great things about the site's makeover is that my blog is now an integrated part of this whole dog and pony show, rather than being off on its own, sad and alone. To celebrate, I'll be taking a walk down memory lane (and it's quite a lane!) and transferring old posts/past Tips to this shiny new blog.
I'll be starting from the beginning—2004—and posting roughly one Classic Tip a week, so check back regularly to reconnect with your favorite Tips from the past and, I hope, to discover a few new-to-you ones in the mix, too.
And because it's always good to strike a balance between looking back and looking forward, I'll also be posting the occasional brand-new organizing thought, idea, project, or recommendation.
Here's to simplicity, refreshment, and renewal in the year ahead!
